  • Federal regulations require that North Dakota draft and submit to EPA an annual monitoring network plan which "shall provide for the establishment and maintenance of an air quality surveillance system". Prior to submittal, the plan should be made available for public review for at least 30 days. Please find below the draft 2014 monitoring network plan.

    The 30-day comment period will begin March 30, 2015 and end on April 30, 2015.

  • Take notice that the North Dakota Department of Health proposes to issue an Air Pollution Control Permit to Construct to Paradigm Energy Partners, LLC in accordance with the North Dakota Air Pollution Control Rules. The project involves the construction of a Petroleum Terminal to be located in McKenzie County.

    A 30-day public comment period for the proposed permit will begin February 27, 2015 and end on March 29, 2015.

  • North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) is pleased to release the annual State Clean Diesel Grant Program application and guidelines. The North Dakota Department of Health, through the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will award approximately $76,000 in grants to be used for the purchase of new diesel powered vehicles, equipment and school buses throughout the state of North Dakota. The grant allocates funds to reduce diesel emissions under the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) of the Energy Policy Act of 2010.
