Injury is not considered an accident, but rather a predictable and preventable disease. Injuries, intentional and unintentional, continue to be a significant public health concern in the United States.
The ND Trauma System provides prevention outreach activities within each region of the state. The goal is to provide education based on the communities' needs and data taken from the ND State Trauma Registry.
