CME Credits for Physicians|
This enduring material
activity, Smiles for Life: A National Oral Health Curriculum, has been
reviewed and is acceptable for up to 8.50 Prescribed credits by the
American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP certification begins March
11, 2013. Term of approval is for two years from this date with the
option of yearly renewal. Physicians should claim only the credit
commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Approval for AAFP CME credit does not imply authorization to use the
AAFP logo on CME activity materials or to use AAFP s name any
association with the activity other than the credit statement.
The AAFP reserves the right to perform a post-activity audit and/or have
a live monitor at any AAFP certified CME activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association
as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit toward the AMA Physician s
Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit
earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
There is no charge for CME credit for individual users.
In order to print a certificate of completion for continuing education
credit, you must complete all the post-test questions, a brief
evaluation, and then press Submit to view the "Thank You" page where you
have the option to print or save a certificate of completion. If you
log-out before printing, but your test results have been submitted or if
you need another copy, you can log back in and will be directed to a
"Welcome Back" page from where you can re-print the certificate. If you
do not see this page when logging back in, your test results were not
properly submitted. You can then log back in, go directly to the Summary
and Assessment page and click "Next" to complete the post-test and the
evaluation to receive a certificate.
