The National Exchange Club Foundation is committed to
making a difference in the lives of children, families and our communities
through its national project, the prevention of child abuse. The NEC
Foundation's most successful method of countering abuse is by working
directly with parents through the parent aide program. The NEC Foundation
coordinates a nationwide network of nearly 100 Exchange Club Child Abuse
Prevention Centers who utilize the parent aide program and provide support
to families at-risk for abuse.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is committed

electrical, chemical, or mechanical hazard or can injure children. The
CPSC's work to ensure the safety of consumer products - such as toys,
cribs, power tools, cigarette lighters, and household chemicals
contributed significantly to the 30 percent decline in the rate of deaths
and injuries associated with consumer products over the past 30 years.
