North Dakota Continued Competency Pilot Program Recertification Requirements

North Dakota participated in a pilot project with the National Registry of EMT's.  The "pilot" period for the national continued competencies program has ended.  Please visit the NREMT website.

In order to obtain relicensure, nationally certified EMS personnel will need to submit an EMS registration form to DEMST, or complete the online registration / licensure process on the DEMST website.

DEMST will follow the same requirements for those non-nationally registered EMS personnel. Documentation will be required on the Non-Nationally Registered EMR, AFAA and EMT Continuing Education Report form to be submitted along with an EMS Registration form to DEMST any time after January 1 of the year of expiration.
