Be A Lifesaver

The CPR/AED Training in the Schools funding has been under-utilized.  To-date less than $10,000 in funding has been applied for from the ND Department of Public of Instruction for reimbursement following CPR/AED training.

School districts must arrange/conduct either an AHA or Red Cross certification class to be eligible to receive reimbursement to provide that training. This funding is currently only available for the next two years, and if not successful, MAY NOT continue without the support of school districts and local EMS and Fire agencies.  The intent of that bill is to provide the means for all ND high school students to graduate with the ability to perform CPR.
