The Dakota Diabetes Coalition (DDC) is made up of people from various organizations across the state who network on how to most effectively improve diabetes prevention, education and care. Linked to the North Dakota Department of Health and Healthy North Dakota, DDC members share resources and tools proven to be effective. Most importantly, members share time and ideas.

Because the Coalition population is spread across North Dakota, communication is often by phone or email. People join teams based on diabetes topics most important to them, whether it's access, communication, technology or prevention. The Coalition has two levels of membership so individuals can be as involved as they like.

Members work collaboratively on team projects and participants receive Dakota Diabetes Coalition updates. Anyone interested in diabetes is welcome to join the Coalition.

Our Mission

To integrate and invigorate all efforts to prevent, manage and treat diabetes for all North Dakotans.

Our Vision

A dynamic and sustainable diabetes coalition.
