ND Breastfeeding Conference a Success

The Biennial State Breastfeeding Conference held August 16, 2012 was attended by over 120 passionate participants. The speaker, Cathy Carothers, is a co-director of EVERY MOTHER, INC, President of the International Lactation Consultant Association, and Chair-Elect of the United States Breastfeeding Comittee. Cathy spoke about how to support breastfeeding mothers in low wage job settings, answers for the anxious, and helping mothers return to exclusive breastfeeding. She finished the day by motivating the group to take action now because the time is right.
