The Division of Disease Control is committed to disease prevention through disease monitoring, investigation, intervention and public health education in partnership with the public and private health community. The Division of Microbiology, as the state public health laboratory, provides testing services to support surveillance activities, conduct outbreak investigations, and monitor for new or emerging infectious diseases to safeguard the health of the citizens of North Dakota.
