What Is Healthy People 2010?
In North Dakota, a coordinated effort is being made to collect annual data for many of the 467 objectives that comprise Healthy People 2010. These objectives are organized into 28 focus areas At this site, you will be able to access data reports and news specific to Healthy People 2010 data collection in North Dakota. Data collection and dissemination has two primary purposes:
Department of Health Program Support –
Many programs within the Department of Health will be able to utilize the Healthy People 2010 data for tracking of program specific indicators, program evaluation, demonstration of need within the state, and demonstration of trends within program areas.
Healthy North Dakota Support – Healthy North Dakota is an initiative that focuses on wellness in our homes, schools, communities and workplaces and serves as a framework for a statewide comprehensive wellness plan. Healthy People 2010 supports the Healthy North Dakota initiative by providing access to annual data on multiple health objectives.
