The Public Health Institute, now in its 11th year, offers a courses for everyone practicing in or studying public health or fields related to public health. Participants can build or expand their professional expertise, learn best practices, broaden career options, network with other professionals or explore a new area of interest. Course content emphasizes theory to practice with opportunities for field trips, case studies, hands-on labs and simulations.
Participate in fast-paced, interactive courses with an emphasis on theory to practice with opportunities for field trips, case studies, hands-on labs and simulations.
Learn from local, national and international faculty and leading experts.
Study about the impact of globalization, food protection, emerging infectious diseases, culturally responsive public health practices, health leadership and management, preparedness, women and child health, and research methods.
Register for academic graduate credit or for non-credit continuing education hours. Limited financial support for select courses is available to qualifying participants.
