Animal-Related GI Illness

Zoonotic diseases are caused by germs that can be spread between animals and humans. Infected animals can cause illness, even if they appear healthy and clean. Zoonotic disease can cause many different illnesses in people. Gastrointestinal zoonotic illnesses are one type of illness that can upset the digestive system and make people sick.
