LIMITED SCOPE X-RAY OPERATOR TRAINING - DIDACTIC PORTION
Didactic requirements include the successful completion of three items.
1) 80-hour Didactic Course: This must be a single training program providing didactic instruction in accordance with Part 1 of Appendix H. A certificate of completion will be issued, which must be made available to the Department upon request.
2) State Examination: This exam is administered during the 80-hour didactic instruction portion of the training. Successful completion requires a 70%. 3) 3-hour Self Study Instruction: This portion of the training includes prerequisite reading and 2 videos designed by the North Dakota Radiation Control Program. This 3-hour training supplement addresses two critical areas of the limited scope x-ray operator training requirements, the North Dakota Radiologic Health Rules and Special Pediatric Considerations.
